The 2nd Half (50 and Over Show)

Las Laguna Art Gallery presents The 2nd Half (50 and Over Show), an exhibition celebrating artists 50 and older. All artists 50 or older are encouraged to apply. The gallery welcomes artists who have spent decades honing their skills as well as those new to art who bring valuable life experiences to their work.

Accepted media includes Acrylic, Airbrush, Assemblage, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Collage, Digital Art, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Art, Graphite, Glass Art, Illustration, Jewelry, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Painting, Pastel, Photography (Traditional and Digital), Printmaking, Sculpture, Video, and Watercolor. All artists who submit will be accepted and have at least one work posted and promoted on the gallery's website and client list. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the brick-and-mortar gallery in Laguna Beach for the in-person exhibition.

Entry fee: $31.00 (plus $2.00 per additional image). Submit 1-20 images and 0-6 videos (26 total samples maximum). Notification: May 6, 2024. Exhibition dates: June 6-28, 2024. Commission: 65% Artist, 35% Gallery. Open to local, national, and international artists.
