The 2024 Casa Bonita Show - How do you like me now?

NEXT Gallery is hosting the 7th Annual Casa Bonita Art Show, a national juried exhibition open to artwork in all mediums that directly relate to Casa Bonita Restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado. The restaurant, a 52,000 sq-ft venue, has reopened and this show invites artists to respond to it. Cash prizes will be awarded.

All artwork must be original in concept, not copied from another artist's work, and AI art will not be accepted. Please note that the Casa Bonita logo and font are trademarked. All work must be gallery-ready with a secure hanging mechanism and professional presentation. Submissions will be juried by Mona Lucero (fashion designer), Dolla B (Casa Bonita Art Show founder), and Andrew Novick (Casa Bonita Aficionado).

Entry fee is $25 per submission (one piece of art). The deadline to enter is February 6th, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Results will be emailed no later than February 8th, 2024. Art drop-off takes place February 10th and 11th, with specific arrangements made for out-of-state artists. The exhibition runs February 16 - March 3, 2024 at NEXT Gallery. Unsold artwork must be picked up on March 3, 2024, or mailed artwork will be returned the week of March 4th, 2024. Any artwork sold incurs a 30% commission. Prices quoted on the entry form may not be changed after acceptance. Artists will be notified by email of sales and receive payment within one month of the exhibition closing.
