The 2023 Casa Bonita Art Show

NEXT Gallery is hosting the 6th Annual Casa Bonita Art Show, a national juried exhibition open to artwork in all mediums. All art must directly relate to Casa Bonita Restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado. The show seeks art that tells the tale of Casa Bonita—its fables, facts, fictions, and legends—to create a visual snapshot of the Casa Bonita experience. Submissions will be juried by Casa Bonita Art Show founder Dolla B and Casa Bonita Aficionado Andrew Novick. Cash prizes will be awarded.

The entry deadline is February 6, 2023 at midnight MST. The $25 entry fee per submission must be paid through callforentry.org and is non-refundable. Submissions may include up to 3 images, 3 audio files, or 3 video files (minimum 1 sample required). Image files must be JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and 5 MB maximum. All artwork must be original in concept. Judging results will be emailed February 10, 2023. Art drop-off takes place February 11-13, with specific arrangements made for out-of-state artists.

Accepted work will be exhibited at NEXT Gallery from Friday, February 17 through Saturday, March 4, 2023. Any artwork sold incurs a 30% commission. Prices quoted on the entry form may not be changed after acceptance. Purchased artwork must remain in the gallery until the exhibition closes. Artists will be notified by email of sales and receive payment within one month of the exhibition closing. Unsold artwork must be picked up Sunday, March 5, 2023, or mailed artwork will be returned the week of March 6, 2023.
