The 18th Annual Lone Tree Art Expo

The 18th Annual Lone Tree Art Expo is a juried exhibition presented by the City of Lone Tree and the Lone Tree Arts Commission. The exhibition runs September 17–November 18, 2019 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, Colorado 80124.

Artists may submit up to three pieces of original artwork in the following categories: Painting (oil, acrylic, tempera), Drawing (pastel, pencil, charcoal), Watercolor, Mixed Media, and Sculpture. Artwork must have been completed within the last two years (2017–2019) and not previously shown in a Lone Tree art exhibition. Three-dimensional artwork cannot exceed 24 inches and must weigh no more than 75 pounds. Two-dimensional work cannot exceed 48 inches, must be a minimum of 12 inches, and cannot weigh more than 40 pounds. All work must be available for purchase and remain on display through the duration of the exhibit. Artwork must be dropped off in person on Monday, September 16th between 3:30 pm–6:30 pm and picked up on Tuesday, November 19th between 3:30 pm–6:30 pm. The entry fee is $35 (non-refundable).

Artists will receive email notification by September 1st, 2019 regarding acceptance. Awards include Best of Show, Commissioner's Choice, and First and Second Place in each category. Winners of Best of Show, Commissioner's Choice, and First Place category winners will be awarded gallery space at the Lone Tree Arts Center from November 19–January 7 to display six original works. A 20% sales commission applies to all sales. Accepted artists may sell bin work at the opening reception on September 26th, 2019 only.
