The 10th Biannual Exhibition

Angad Arts Hotel invites submissions for the 10th Biannual Exhibition, featuring artwork from artists within a 200-mile radius of Saint Louis, Missouri. There is no theme for this submission process. The exhibition will be displayed May 7 through late October 2024 in prominent public spaces throughout the hotel in the Grand Center Arts District.

Eligibility is open to individuals living in the St. Louis region and surrounding 200-mile radius (Chicago, IL and Kansas City, MO are not eligible). Entry fee is $35.00 (no fee until Friday, March 8th). Submissions must include 1-3 images of artwork with final dimensions including framing. Accepted media includes drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, glass, assemblage, collage, written word, fiber, sculpture, or video media. Final pieces must be professionally framed and/or ready for display. A special installation opportunity is available for textile artists featuring a focal point at the reception desk with fixed height of 110 inches and variable width from 60 to 300 inches.

Submission deadline is midnight Sunday, March 31st, 2024. Notification to all entrants will be sent by Friday, April 5th, 2024. Artwork must be delivered by Monday, April 22nd, 2024 (special arrangements available for April 20th or 22nd). The opening reception is Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, 5-8pm. Selected artwork will be promoted through the hotel's website, social media, and online shop at www.shop.angadartshotel.com. Angad Arts Hotel retains 40% commission on sales, with artists receiving 60%. Artwork selected for exhibition will be professionally photographed and included in the Grand Center Arts District's First Friday artwalks and curator tours.
