That's Effin' Funny!

Shoebox Arts invites artists to submit work for this national open call online exhibition curated by artist and curator Debbie Korbel. The exhibition is open to artists residing in the United States, age 18 and older. All fine arts visual media will be considered, including images, video, and audio. Artworks of any physical size can be submitted; videos are limited to 10 minutes in length.

Entry requires submission of 3-10 work samples. The first 3 images cost $10 total; up to 7 additional images can be submitted for $5 each. Detail shots count toward the image total. Video and audio files should be uploaded to CaFE, or links to Vimeo or YouTube can be supplied as text. The entry deadline is April 18, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Accepted artists will be notified by May 2, 2021.

The exhibition runs May 22 - June 19, 2021 at Shoebox Projects in Los Angeles. An opening reception, award announcement, and Zoom artist talk will be held May 22, 3-5 p.m. PST. Awards include a Grand Prize of a solo online exhibition with Shoebox Projects scheduled for Autumn 2021, plus cash prizes of $100 (1st Prize) and $50 (2nd Prize).
