Text/ile

TEXT/ile is an online juried exhibition hosted by Gallery 114, an artist collective based in Portland, Oregon. The exhibition invites artists to submit work responding to the theme of that which weaves us together—exploring fiber, needle, thread, paint, wood, word, rock, canvas, paper, charcoal, thought, belief, ink and brush.

This is an international call open to artists worldwide. Submissions are limited to 3 works per artist with a $25.00 entry fee. Artists are responsible for all sales transactions directly with buyers and will receive 100% of compensation. The submission deadline is May 15, 2020, with notification of acceptance on May 18, 2020. Accepted artists must submit a jpg of their work at 300 dpi to the gallery. The exhibition will be online from June 4, 2020 through June 27, 2020.

Gallery 114 is an artist-owned, artist-run collective that has served the Portland community for thirty years from its location in The Pearl, the city's arts and entertainment district. The gallery encourages members and participants to take risks and explore new creative efforts with underlying quality and integrity.
