Texas Photographic Society's 37th Annual Members Only Show

Texas Photographic Society announces the 37th Annual Members Only Show, juried by O. Rufus Lovett, a fine art and editorial photographer and recently retired photography professor at Kilgore College after 42 years. The exhibition will be held at the Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA) in Abilene, Texas. This open-themed call welcomes submissions from international artists of all levels. You must be a current TPS member to enter; membership can be obtained at the time of entry.

Entry fee for current TPS members is $30 for 5 images, plus $6 for each additional image up to 12 total. Membership options include: 1 Year Senior (65+) $30, 3 Year Senior $72, 1 Year Regular/International $40, 3 Year Regular/International $96, and Student/Military $20. All entry and membership fees are non-refundable. Eligibility is open to artists 18 years or older internationally. All photography-based work is encouraged including digital, silver, and alternative processes. Works previously exhibited in a TPS show are not eligible. Current TPS Board members may enter but are not eligible for awards.

Submit digital JPG files only, minimum 1200 pixels on the longest side and 5 MB maximum, without watermarks. Provide image title and process/medium used. The deadline for entry is September 30, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Exhibiting artists will be announced October 18, 2024. Work is due November 16, 2024, with the exhibition opening November 21, 2024 and closing January 18, 2025. Awards: First Place $500, Second Place $300, Third Place $200, and up to 5 Honorable Mentions. Accepted work must be framed and ready-to-hang, not exceeding 30 inches in the longest dimension, using wire and D-rings. White mats and white or black gallery-quality frames are required; plexiglass must be used, no glass allowed.
