Texas Photographic Society's 36th Annual Members Only Show

Texas Photographic Society announces the 36th Annual Members Only Show, juried by Roy Flukinger, an Independent Curator Emeritus and former Senior Curator of the Harry Ransom Center at The University of Texas. The exhibition will be held at Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock, Texas, with the exhibition opening January 27, 2024 and closing March 17, 2024.

This open-themed call welcomes submissions from photographers of all levels internationally, age 18 and older. All photography-based work is encouraged, including digital, silver, and alternative processes. You must be a current member of Texas Photographic Society to enter; membership can be obtained at the time of entry. Works previously exhibited in a TPS show are not eligible. Current TPS Board members may enter but are not eligible for awards.

Entry fee for current members is $30 for 5 images, plus $6 for each additional image up to 12 total images. Membership options include 1 Year Senior Membership (65+) for $30, 3 Year Senior Membership for $72, 1 Year Regular/International Membership for $40, and 3 Year Regular/International Membership for $96. All fees are non-refundable. Submit digital JPG files only, minimum 1200 pixels on the longest side and 5 MB maximum, without watermarks. For each image, provide the title and process/medium used. Awards include First Place ($500), Second Place ($300), Third Place ($200), and up to 5 Honorable Mentions. Accepted works must be framed and ready-to-hang, not exceeding 40 inches in the longest dimension, and shipped to the venue by January 19, 2024. TPS and partner venues collect commission from artwork sales during the exhibition.
