About This Call
The 3rd Annual Texas Fine Craft Show is an indoor boutique fine craft event produced by The Woodlands Arts Council, the organization behind the acclaimed Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. The show will be held at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380, on September 25-27, 2026 (Friday 5 pm-9 pm, Saturday 10 am-5 pm, Sunday 12 pm-5 pm). The show will accommodate up to 90 artists and is slated to become the South's Premier Fine Craft Event.
Accepted media categories include 3D Mixed Media (no painting), Ceramics, Decorative Fiber, Furniture, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Wearable Art, and Wood. Artists may submit up to two applications. All work must be original and handcrafted by the applying artist. The jury process is blind and anonymous, with applications scored on a 1-7 scale. Artists will be notified of jury results by June 5, 2026. The application fee is $35 (non-refundable). Applications require four images: three of artwork completed within the last three years and one booth shot (preferably from an indoor venue) showing the artist's display. The artist statement is limited to 200 characters and should describe the process/technique used. Artists must be present with their work for all show hours. No commission is paid to The Woodlands Arts Council. Artist amenities include 24-hour security, artist relief booth sitting, ample parking, street-level load-in/load-out, discounted hotel rates, badges for artist and assistant, two complimentary tickets, lunch on Saturday, and loadout refreshments. The application deadline is May 3, 2026 at midnight CST. Accepted artists must pay booth fees by July 1, 2026.
