Terra / Earth / Ground

Core New Art Space in Lakewood, Colorado invites artists working in all mediums in 2D and 3D (except video and installations) to submit work exploring the theme "Terra / Earth / Ground." The exhibition considers earth in its many forms: the soil beneath our feet, gardens, places of natural beauty, celestial perspectives, or earth as a material in art and craft. Artists are invited to explore their personal relationship with earth and planetary resources through their work.

Entries must be submitted electronically by January 2nd, 2024, with a $35.00 entry fee for up to 3 works. Submissions should include 1-3 images. Work must not exceed 48 inches on its longest side, including frame; work outside these parameters will be disqualified. All media used must be listed in the description field. Notification of acceptance will be sent by January 9th, 2024. Accepted work must arrive at the gallery by January 20th, 2024 at 4 p.m. The exhibition runs January 26th through February 11th, 2024, with an artist reception on Friday, January 26th from 5-10 p.m. Juror Chris Stevens will evaluate work based on overall impact, content, composition, mastery of technique, creativity, and craftsmanship.
