Tenth International Call for Entries: A Juried International Photography Exhibition

The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts invites artists to submit work for a juried international photography exhibition. This open call seeks contemporary voices in photography with no theme or prompt, looking to bring together image makers from around the world to survey current photographic practice across a full spectrum of image capture, presentation, and subject matter.

Artists of all levels who are at least 18 years old are eligible to enter. Work must be original and in any form of photographic image-making using any process or technology, current or historical. Artists may submit up to 15 photographs. The entry fee is $45 for the first three images and $10 for each additional image. Current RICPA members receive a 20% discount. Work must be exhibition ready with a maximum size of 48 inches including the frame. Multiple pieces (diptych, triptych, etc.) may comprise one work.

The exhibition runs March 21 through April 12, 2024, at the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts, 118 N. Main Street, Providence, RI. The juror is Karen Haas, Lane Senior Curator of Photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Awards include First Place ($500), Second Place ($250), and Third Place ($125). Accepted work must be delivered by March 16, 2024, either in-person or by shipment. A reception and awards ceremony will be held March 21, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts retains a 40% commission on works sold (20% for Supporting & Exhibiting members).
