About This Call
This juried exhibition is open to all U.S. artists, 18 years and older. Artwork's final surface must be 80% traditional dry pastel. All work must be original, created, and produced by the artist within the last three years. No compositions taken from published material or based on another artist's work. No work created in a class, workshop, or under any type of supervision. No work copied from photographs taken by someone else without written authorization from the photographer. No work painted over a mechanical print, copies, or reproductions. No collaborative work. Work previously exhibited in any CPP Exhibition is not eligible. Only one painting per artist may be accepted.
Entry fees are $35 for members ($45 for non-members) to submit up to three pieces, with $10 for each additional submission, up to five total. All work must be for sale. The Art Center Highland Park will receive a 30% commission, and CPP will retain a 10% commission on all sales, with the artist receiving 60% of sale. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the entry deadline of September 8, 2025.
Awards include Best of Show - $2,000, plus additional cash and merchandise awards. Awards will be announced at the Reception and Award Ceremony on November 7, 2025. Submit original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to include only the artwork itself with no visible matting, frames, or background distractions. For questions about the Prospectus, eligibility, artwork requirements, or other matters, contact Mike Barret Kolasinski at [email protected].
