About This Call

Tennessee Craft seeks entries for the 2025 Tennessee Craft Member Exhibition to highlight and promote the excellence and high standards of Tennessee Craft member artists and to provide public visibility and recognition for the quality and diversity of craft found in Tennessee. The exhibition is open to original works of craft created by artists 18 years of age or older, including students. All applicants must be 2025 members of Tennessee Craft to be considered for jury. Approximately 70 pieces of artwork will be selected for this craft exhibition, hosted by The Pryor Art Gallery at Columbia State Community College in Columbia, Tennessee. The public exhibition runs October 27 – December 11, 2025, with a closing reception on December 11, 2025.

Artists may submit up to three craft pieces for consideration, with each piece represented by one image. The entry fee is $30 (non-refundable), payable by check, credit, or debit card. All entry forms must be electronically submitted no later than 11:59 PM Mountain Time on August 16, 2025. Applicants must be 18 years or older and current 2025 members of Tennessee Craft. Work must be original, not previously exhibited at a Tennessee Craft exhibition, and within generally accepted craft media. Eligible media include basketry, books/paper, clay, drawing, fiber/textile, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, wood, and other. Original artwork only may be submitted; commercially made embellishments must be subordinate to handcrafted work. Computer-assisted works are not allowed unless generated components are subordinate to the finished artwork. Artwork produced with commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, or prefabricated forms are ineligible.

Jurying will be conducted solely from images submitted through callforentry.org by guest juror Ellen Kleckner. The Gallery is unable to show works depicting nudity, demons, or violence. Sales will be handled by The Pryor Art Gallery, with the artist receiving 80% of sales and the Gallery receiving 20%. Recognition certificates will be presented at the conclusion of the exhibition. Each artist is responsible for the cost of transporting artwork to and from the Gallery and for insurance during transit. Artwork may be shipped or hand delivered and must be packed in strong reusable containers. Artists must provide a return shipping label if shipping work.
