Teeny, Tiny, BOLD

Teeny, Tiny, BOLD is a regional juried small works exhibition highlighting the power in the compact. Artists are encouraged to explore ideas of compression, focus, scale, the intimate, and what gives impact and meaning through a restrained format. Work dimensions must not exceed 12" in any direction, including frame or other mounts. Artists may submit works in any medium including painting, drawing, collage, photography, fiber, metal, printmaking, ceramics, or other media that meet the size requirement.

The exhibition runs from November 18, 2021 to February 5, 2022 and will coincide with Artists Sunday, a national campaign to support artists the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. Artists are encouraged to attend the opening reception on Friday, December 3, 2021 in person and to share the exhibit on social media.

Eligibility is open to artists 18 and older in Wisconsin or within 300 miles of Platteville, WI. Entry fee is $25.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 3-10 images and/or 0-6 videos (minimum 3 total samples, maximum 10 total samples). The juror is Frank Juarez, art department chair at Sheboygan North High School, contributing editor of SchoolArts Magazine, and publisher of Artdose Magazine. Rountree Gallery is an all-volunteer, artist-run non-profit contemporary gallery in Southwest Wisconsin.
