About This Call
The TCC President's Office and the School of Visual and Performing Arts are hosting an art competition for currently enrolled Tulsa Community College students. Winning artwork will be framed and given as a farewell gift to an outgoing Tulsa Community College Regent, and the artist will receive a $500.00 Talentship Award.
Artwork must be created using one of four specific TCC Academic Buildings as subject/content: Center for Creativity (Metro Campus), Health Sciences / Biotech Building #8 (Southeast Campus), Student Success Center (West Campus), or Student Success Center (Southeast Campus). Reference images of these buildings are available at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1czOafumOCqQtuCzN3ywKuw26bwYYkmxn. Artwork must be between 11" x 14" and 18" x 24" and created using acrylic, charcoal, pen & ink, mixed media, or watercolor. Artwork created on newsprint or sketch paper will not be accepted.
Applicants must be currently enrolled at Tulsa Community College for the 2021-2022 academic year. All artwork must be original and based on one of the four specified academic buildings. Students may submit 1-4 high-quality JPEG images photographed on a white background with even lighting and no filters. This opportunity is free for all Tulsa Community College students. Applications will be juried remotely, and applicants will be notified via their TCC campus email address of competition results.
