TCC Foundation Visual Art Scholarship

The TCC Foundation Visual Art Scholarship supports student artists at Tulsa Community College and encourages hard-working, community-conscious and goal-oriented creatives to continue with their education both within the Art Department at TCC and when they transfer to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Art.

The scholarship supports two types of awards: TCC Art Program Award ($500.00) for current TCC Art Majors taking Art Core-Curriculum courses who are not transferring to a four-year institution during or immediately after the 2021-2022 academic year, and TCC Art Transfer Award ($1,000.00) for students who have completed or are near completion of the Art Core-Curriculum at TCC and plan to transfer to a four-year institution during or immediately after the 2021-2022 academic year to seek a four-year degree as an Art Major.

Eligibility requirements: applicant must be currently enrolled at Tulsa Community College for the 2021-2022 academic year, must be an Art Major (TCC Digital Media Majors are not eligible), must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and all artwork submitted must be original and created in a TCC Art course. TCC Art Program Award applicants submit a portfolio of 5-7 artworks and answer two 250-300 word reflection questions. TCC Art Transfer Award applicants submit a portfolio of 10 artworks, provide a Curriculum Vitae following College Art Association Standards & Guidelines, answer three 250-300 word reflection questions, and provide proof of transfer documents. This scholarship is free for Tulsa Community College Art students. Entry deadline: 3/31/22 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
