About This Call
This is a free submission opportunity to showcase artwork from the community by commissioning artists to create one-of-a-kind pieces for Theme Nights during the 2023-24 season. Digital designs are sought for themes including Hispanic Heritage, Black Heritage, Sustainability, Gender Equality, Mental Health, Pride, 90s Themed, Military Appreciation, Hockey Fights Cancer, Holiday art, and Fan art. Digital designs can be submitted for pucks, jersey crests, arena artwork, and other projects. Puck designs must be 2.75" diameter. Jersey crest designs must be 10" x 10". General artwork may also be considered for monthly spotlights, community mural projects, and other activations throughout the 2023-24 season.
Artists can submit up to 20 pieces for consideration. Work samples may include up to 20 images, up to 6 audio files, and up to 6 video files, with a minimum of 1 total sample required. All entries will be entered to win a 2022-23 team signed jersey. Select art will be chosen by a committee of 7 representatives throughout the Lightning organization for further collaboration. Project timelines will vary based on the specific project and will be communicated directly with selected artists.
Eligibility: Artists must reside in the state of Florida. For more information, email Samantha Bell at [email protected] or visit tampabaylightning.com/artist.
