About This Call
The Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks Craft Festival, presented by The Tarpon Springs Merchant's Association and produced by SIK Promotions, Inc., features a curated showcase of handmade arts and crafts, unique gifts, and artisan goods from regional and national makers. The historic Sponge Docks location provides a platform for local and traveling artisans to display and sell their work while attracting thousands of visitors to the area. All events are pet and family friendly with free admission.
The festival accepts a variety of contemporary art and fine crafts including jewelry and accessories, pottery and ceramics, original art (paintings, photography, sculpture), clothing and home décor, mixed media, glass, and wood/furniture. Exhibitor spaces are 10'x10'. Applications must include three high-resolution photos of work and one photo of outdoor booth setup. An optional 30-second video may be uploaded for media B-roll. Booth fees are $325 for artists/crafters (items must be handmade by participant), $350 for local St. Pete charities/non-profits (with 501c3 proof), $425 for fair trade/import vendors (by invitation only), and $1500 for commercial/corporate vendors (by invitation only, limit 4). Food vendors are available at $42.50 per linear foot for mainline vendors and $32.50 per linear foot for single item vendors (10' minimum). Application fee is $35.00. Resale and retail vendors are not accepted.
Load-in is Saturday at 6:00 am and load-out is Sunday at 5:30 pm. Overnight security is provided on Saturday night. Local restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available onsite. The festival is held on multiple dates throughout the year: January 10-11, April 18-19, July 11-12, and October 10-11. Operating hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
