The Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks Craft Art Festival accepts a variety of contemporary art and fine crafts from skilled artisans and craftsmen, including jewelry and accessories, pottery and ceramics, original art (paintings, photography, sculpture), clothing and home décor, mixed media, glass, and wood/furniture. The festival provides a platform for local and traveling artisans to display and sell their work while attracting thousands of visitors to the area.
Exhibitor spaces are 10'x10', and all events run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. Load-in is scheduled for Saturday morning at 6:00 am, with load-out on Sunday at 5:30 pm. Overnight security is provided on Saturday night. Local restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available onsite. Applications must include three high-resolution photos of work and one photo of outdoor booth setup. An optional 30-second video may be uploaded for media B-roll.
Booth fees vary by category: Artist/Crafter $350 (items must be handmade by participant), Local St. Pete Charities/Non-Profits $350 (with proof of 501c3), Fair Trade/Import $450 (by invitation only), and Commercial/Corporate $1500 (by invitation only, limit 4). Food vendors are charged $42.50 per linear foot (mainline) or $32.50 per linear foot with 10' minimum (single item). An application fee of $35.00 is required.
