About This Call
The Tampa Bay Times Forum and the Tampa Bay Lightning invite Lightning fans and members of the local arts community to submit original artwork for display in the Tampa Bay Times Forum during the 2014-2015 season. In the first two years of the program, over 800 submissions were received, with 82 winning pieces displayed for 1.5 million visitors. This year's jury includes representatives from the Tampa Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, and the Dali Museum.
Artists must be 13 years of age or older and live or work in the greater Tampa Bay area. Each artist may submit up to three fully completed original works. All mediums are welcome except computer art. Acceptable mediums include painting, photography, drawing, and sculpture. Hanging artwork must be no larger than 6'x6' (including frame). Sculpture is limited to 7' tall with varying widths accepted.
Submissions are due by September 5, 2014. Artists will be notified on or before September 22, 2014 of acceptance into the exhibition.
