Tails of Love

Webster Arts invites art submissions for Tails of Love, a national exhibition celebrating the love shared between animals, pets, and the humans who love them. Artists are encouraged to submit 2D and 3D work. The exhibition is open to all artists aged 18 or older residing in the US.

Submissions must include 3-10 JPEG digital images (1000-1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 PPI, 5 MB maximum). All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Webster Arts. Accepted artworks must be available for the duration of the exhibition. Framed wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 48" x 48". All wall works on paper must be framed. Three-dimensional works must not exceed 32" x 32" x 60" or weigh more than 50 pounds. No floor or ceiling-hung installations, video, or reproductions are accepted. Unassembled work must include detailed assembly instructions.

Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 entries, with $5 for each additional entry up to 10 images. An independent juror will select work for inclusion and award cash prizes: $250 Best in Show and one $100 Award of Excellence. Submission deadline is May 11, 2023. Artists will be notified by email on May 23, 2023. Accepted artwork must be delivered or dropped off by June 14, 2023. The exhibition opens June 16, 2023 at 6:30 PM and runs through July 21, 2023. Sales are encouraged, with Webster Arts taking a 30% commission. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must include return postage.
