About This Call
Tabula Rasa is a juried exhibition for all mediums of 2D art presented at The Photo Shop in Spanish Fork, Utah. The exhibition is open to 2D artists in all mediums, with prizes totaling $500. The concept explores the meaning of "clean slate" and invites artists to share their vision of what Tabula Rasa means to them.
Entry fees are $30 for the first two pieces and $10 for each additional submission (up to six submissions total). Minimum of 2 images required, maximum of 6. While NFS (not for sale) entries are accepted, artists are encouraged to offer works for sale. Sale prices are set by the artist, who will retain 50% of the sale price. There are no size limits.
All pieces accepted for exhibition must be ready for gallery display. Pieces with sawtooth hangers or that are improperly mounted will not be displayed. All work on paper must be protected by glass or Plexiglas. Shipped items must be under Plexiglas and include a prepaid return label in a suitable return container (no packing peanuts). Artwork not meeting these requirements will become the property of The Photo Shop. Accepted artwork must be labeled on the back with the artist's name and title of the piece. Shipped artwork must be picked up in person by February 3, 2020, or arrangements made for return shipment.
