Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival 2026

The Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious shows of its kind in the region. This spectacular, award-winning festival is a 3-day showcase of fine art and contemporary crafts, attracting over 40,000 visitors each year from across the CNY region and beyond. Held in Downtown Syracuse and centered in Cathedral Square, the festival has been a cherished summer tradition for over 50 years.

Both 2- and 3-dimensional works are featured from functional to decorative, including ceramics, fabric and fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, wood, painting, graphics, drawing, sculpture, and photography. Works created by Artificial Intelligence (AI) are not permitted. All work displayed must be original and designed and handcrafted by the exhibiting artist. At least 130 of the total 140 participants will be selected through the jury process, with winners of the previous year's Awards of Distinction invited to participate and exempt from jurying.

The application fee is $25 for each medium to be exhibited, with a booth fee of $290 per booth due upon acceptance or by May 15, 2026. Five images must be electronically submitted: four of individual pieces and one of the outdoor booth display. Awards of Distinction winners will be invited to the 2027 festival with booth fee waived and exempt from jurying. The festival features overnight security, free artist parking, hospitality area, and extensive advertising including social media campaigns generating 200,000+ impressions.
