About This Call
Open to all US and international resident artists at least 18 years of age. Eligible entries include paintings, mixed media, works on paper, photography, sculpture, installation art, digital media, video and performance. There are no size restrictions and site-specific installations are encouraged.
Entry fee is $35 and includes review of 3 images. Additional images may be submitted at $5 each with no maximum. Images must be standard baseline JPEG files (.jpg extension) with a maximum file size of 1.8 MB and minimum dimensions of 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 DPI. Each image submission must include title, year completed, medium, and dimensions. An optional website review/critique is available for an additional $50. All artists may request a 15-minute telephone consultation scheduled after the jury process is completed.
Exhibition dates are August 1 - September 1, 2014, with an opening reception on Saturday, August 4, 3-5pm. Accepted work must be received July 25-28. The gallery is open Wednesday-Saturday, 11-5. All work must be picked up by Saturday, September 1 or Wednesday, September 5, 11-5. Artists are responsible for delivery and return shipping. All work must be suitably framed, wired and ready for hanging or installation. Graphics, prints, watercolors and pastels must be framed under plexiglas (no glass). Shipped work must be packaged in a reusable container without styrofoam peanuts, and a prepaid waybill for return must be enclosed. Shipping should be arranged through USPS, DHL, FedEx, or UPS. COD returns are not acceptable.
