Survey Midwest

Survey Midwest is a juried exhibition open to artists over 18 who reside in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The exhibition focuses on the midwestern landscape as seen by regional artists. All mediums are accepted except photography. Work must be original and completed within the last two years.

The exhibition will coincide with a plein air paint out occurring in early September in downtown Kokomo, with paintings from the event included in the exhibition. Entry fee is $25 per artist, invoiced upon receipt of entry regardless of acceptance. Submissions require 1-3 JPEG images not exceeding 5MB. Professional presentation is required: 2D artwork must be framed with secure hanging hardware, and canvas sides and staples must be covered.

Artists will be notified on or before August 6, 2021. Artwork delivery is August 12-21, 2021 during gallery hours. The exhibition runs September 3-18, 2021, with an opening reception on September 3 from 5:30-9:00pm. Pick-up is September 23-25, 2021. Sales are encouraged with a 30% gallery commission.
