About This Call
The San Jose Rotary Club, with support from David Neale, has established a committee to support, celebrate, and cultivate Bay Area artists between the ages of 16 to 25 who identify as neurodivergent. Four $2,500 grants will be awarded annually to Bay Area neurodivergent artists. Artist expression genres include visual arts, performing arts, musicians, storytelling, and advocacy.
Applicants must submit between 1 and 10 artistic pieces and be able to share how being neurodivergent shapes and impacts their ability to navigate and contribute to society. Artists must reside or work in the Bay Area geographic area, including the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.
Recipients are expected to attend an in-person celebration each spring to receive the grant and showcase their artistic expression. The entry deadline is March 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
