About This Call

Sunset Valley ARTFEST is the 18th annual art and vendor fair hosted by the City of Sunset Valley Arts Commission. The event takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Toney Burger Center (outside) in Sunset Valley, Texas. This is a rain or shine event with free admission and ample free parking onsite. The festival features over 100 artisans showcasing handmade merchandise including oil paintings, drawings, sculptures, glass creations, jewelry, metal and woodwork items, live music from local Austin area talent, local food trucks, and a children's area with interactive activities. The event typically attracts over 8,000 attendees.

Applications are accepted for both artists and non-artist food vendors. Artists must submit only hand-crafted, original work with no commercial or secondhand sales. Acceptable mediums include paintings, sculpture, woodworking, photography, jewelry, fiber arts, prints, lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, and wood. Applications must include four images of proposed items for jury review. Booths must be staffed at all times during event hours by the artist or designated representative. Food vendors must provide images of their tent, truck, or trailer with menu items, and must submit a completed Austin Health Department form.

The application fee is $5.00 (non-refundable). Registration opens January 23, 2026, and closes March 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Vendors will be notified of acceptance by April 3, 2026, and full booth payment is due by April 6, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Vendor packets with booth location, parking information, and load-in details will be sent via email April 14-17, 2026. Vendor check-in and load-in occurs 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. on event day. Load-out begins at 5:00 p.m. Vendors must provide their own white tent with 40 lb. weights per leg, tables, chairs, and display materials.
