Summerfest in Old Colorado City 2025

Summerfest is a summer celebration that features high quality art, hand crafted goods, local merchants, live music, and a whole lot more! The festival takes place July 12 & 13 in Bancroft Park in the center of Old Colorado City, which was formerly the town square in the heart of the historic district. Historic Old Colorado City is an extremely popular tourist area that is one of Colorado's top destinations, located near Manitou Springs and the Garden of the Gods Natural Landmark. Founded in 1859, it was the first capital of the Territory of Colorado and is designated a national historic district.

This art and craft festival is open to all artists and makers of handmade crafts who make their own merchandise. All work sold must be of original design - reproductions are permitted but no reselling of mass produced items. Artists may apply in more than one category but must submit separate applications for each medium. The jury is composed of Colorado artists representing various media and uses a rolling jury process, reviewing applications once every two weeks until the event is full.

Booth spaces are 10' wide by 10' deep, with limited corner booth locations and double booths (10' x 20') also available. The festival is open Saturday 3pm – 8:30pm and Sunday 11am – 6pm. Pricing includes a $20 jury application fee and $275 for a 2-day exhibitor space or $160 for 1-day. Optional upgrades include corner booth location ($25), electricity ($15), and canopy tent rental ($30). Artists retain all proceeds from their sales with no commission asked.
