SummerFair 43 at MSU-Billings

SummerFair 43 at MSU-Billings is a three-day outdoor art fair held June 25-27 at Montana State University-Billings. The event is juried by a committee of community members who seek saleable, fine quality, creative, original work. Only hand-crafted work by the selling artist is acceptable; commercial or mass-produced products are not permitted, except reproductions of paintings or drawings provided the original art is also for sale in the artist's booth.

Applications require 3-8 images and up to 2 videos (3-10 total samples). The committee recommends that three images show a small grouping of 2-4 items to demonstrate variety and range, and one image must show the complete booth display. The application and jury fee is $30 (non-refundable). If accepted, booth fees are due by May 28 and range from $350-$475 depending on size and location, with an optional $20 electrical fee. Booth spaces are preassigned based on proximity to similar artists and application date; each exhibitor receives at least 12' x 12' of space and must provide their own booth and equipment.

Exhibitors must remain open through Sunday, June 27 at 4:00 p.m. Vehicles are not permitted in the gated area from Friday at 2 p.m. until Sunday at 4:15 p.m. The Yellowstone Art Museum is not responsible for damage, theft, or accidents. Cancellation after June 1 results in forfeiture of the booth fee. All artists will receive jury notification electronically.
