SummerFair 2025

Yellowstone Art Museum's SummerFair is a juried art fair held at Metra Park Expo Center in Billings, Montana on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, 2025. Setup is Friday, June 27 from 11 AM–5 PM, and teardown is Sunday, June 29 from 3 PM–6 PM. The fair is open to the public Saturday, June 28 from 9 AM–5 PM and Sunday, June 29 from 9 AM–3 PM.

New this year, SummerFair is introducing juried Artist Awards for three categories: 2025 Best in Show, 2025 Merit Award, and 2025 Juror's Choice Award. Each category includes a cash prize, press feature, and automatic invitation to return to SummerFair in 2026. Booth spaces are preassigned based on proximity to similar artists and application date. Each exhibitor receives at least 12' x 12' of booth space and must provide their own booth and equipment. All work, display, and storage must remain within the assigned space. The Yellowstone Art Museum is not responsible for damage, theft, or accidents.

Entry deadline is April 30, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The application and jury fee is $30 (non-refundable). Booth fees are $250 for 12' x 12' or $450 for 12' x 24'. If your application is accepted, booth fees are due by May 25, 2025 at 5 PM. Jury notifications begin April 1, 2025 on a rolling basis. Submit three to six digital images representing work to be sold, with three images showing a small grouping of items and one image showing your complete booth display (or a mockup if this is your first show). Only hand-crafted, original work is acceptable; no commercial or mass-produced products are permitted except reproductions of original paintings or drawings.
