About This Call
Yellowstone Art Museum is hosting SummerFair on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 at Metra Park Expo Center in Billings, Montana. This year marks the museum's 60th anniversary, with special programming throughout 2024 celebrating six decades of art and community.
The fair is open to the public Saturday, June 22 from 9 AM–7 PM and Sunday, June 23 from 9 AM–4 PM. Setup is Friday, June 21 from 12 PM–7 PM, and teardown is Sunday, June 23 from 4 PM–7 PM. Each exhibitor receives at least 12' x 12' of booth space (preassigned based on artist proximity and application date). Exhibitors must provide their own booth and equipment and comply with venue rules. All work, display, and storage must remain within assigned booth space. Artists are required to stay open through Sunday closing at 4 PM. The Yellowstone Art Museum is not responsible for damage, theft, or accidents.
Application deadline is April 28, 2024. Entry fee is $30 (non-refundable). Booth fees are $250 for 12' x 12' and $400 for 12' x 24'. Booth fees are due by May 19, 2024 at 5 PM if accepted. Late applications received after April 28 may be subject to a late fee. Cancellation after June 5, 2024 results in forfeiture of booth fee. Submit 3–6 digital images representing work to be sold. The committee recommends three images showing a small grouping of 2–4 items and one image of your complete booth display (or a mockup if this is your first show). Only hand-crafted, original work by the selling artist is acceptable. No commercial or mass-produced products are permitted, except reproductions of original paintings or drawings. Jury decisions are final, and past participation does not guarantee acceptance. Notification of jury results begins March 18 and continues through the application deadline.
