About This Call
SummerFair 44 at MSU-Billings will take place June 24, 25, & 26, 2022. This outdoor festival is open to national artists. The application and jury fee is $30 (non-refundable). Booth fees are $350 for a 12' x 12' space or $425 for a 12' x 24' space. Corner booths are available upon availability for $400 (12' x 12') or $475 (12' x 24'). An optional electrical fee of $20 is available. Late applications received after March 21, 2022 may be subject to a late fee or other inconveniences. If accepted, booth fees are due by Friday, May 27.
Applications require two to five digital images that clearly represent work to be sold at SummerFair. The committee recommends that three images show a small grouping (two to four items) to demonstrate variety and range of work. One image must show your complete booth display. Only hand-crafted work by the selling artist is acceptable. No commercial or mass-produced products are permitted, except reproductions of paintings or drawings as long as the original art is also for sale in the artist's booth. Jury decisions are final and past participation does not guarantee acceptance. All artists will receive notification of jurying results electronically by Wednesday, April 13.
All booth spaces will be preassigned based on proximity to like artists and date of application received. Each exhibitor is responsible for providing their own booth and equipment. Exhibitors will receive at least 12' x 12' of booth space. All work, display, and storage must stay within the assigned space. Summerfair artists are required to stay open for business through Sunday, June 26, until 4:00 p.m. Vehicles will not be allowed in the gated area from Friday, June 24 at 2 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. on Sunday. Cancellation by artist for any reason after June 1, 2022 will result in forfeiture of booth fee. The Yellowstone Art Museum is not responsible for any damage, theft, or accidents.
