Summer Small Works Show

The Kansas City Stockyards Gallery invites artists to submit artwork for the Summer Small Works Show, running July 16 through August 13. The exhibition will feature 2D or 3D artwork in any media with dimensions of 14 inches or less in all directions (frames or pedestals do not count toward dimensions). The gallery is located in the historic Livestock Exchange Building.

Entry fee is $10.00, with an additional $5.00 media fee for each additional entry. Artists may submit 1-10 images. Artwork must be original and ready to hang with a wire hanging apparatus on the back; the gallery has shelves and pedestals available for 3D work. Artists must drop off work on Friday, July 9th (1-5 pm) or Saturday, July 10th (11 am-3 pm). Shipped work must arrive by July 10th; artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a paid return shipping label with tracking number. Shipping insurance is recommended, and packing peanuts should not be used.

Unsold work must be picked up on Saturday, August 13th (11 am-3 pm) or Monday, August 16th (1-5 pm). A reception will be held on July 16th from 5-9 pm and is free and open to the public. Artist attendance is encouraged but not required. The call is open to national artists.
