Summer Fun Group Show

Gallery of Hermosa invites all artists to submit work for an open juried group show titled "Summer Fun." The exhibition will run from August 9 to September 3, 2024, with an opening reception and gallery crawl on August 9 from 5-8pm. Selected artworks will be featured across three premier venues in Hermosa Beach: Gallery of Hermosa, Made By Inch (a custom furniture showroom), and The Easy Reader News as part of the Easy Reader Art Show series.

The call seeks 2D artworks that capture the essence of Summer Fun. All styles and mediums are welcome, including paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media, and photography. Original artwork only—no reproductions or giclees. Artwork must be ready for display (framed or gallery wrapped with wire for hanging) and available for sale. Each artist may submit up to 5 artworks. Submissions should include a brief artist statement or bio, which will be considered during the selection process. A panel of jurors will curate the final pieces for the exhibit.

Entry fee is $25 for the first image and $5 for each additional image (up to 5 images total). Submit 1-5 images with a short artist bio, statement, and brief description (up to 300 characters) for each artwork. Include the selling price in your submission. Open to all artists—local, national, and international. Entry deadline is July 19, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
