About This Call
The Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest is a 2-day festival in the heart of Sugar Land, an emerging hub for the arts. More than 100 artists participate in the event, which is a prime opportunity for them to exhibit and sell their artwork across 14 different mediums. Hosted by the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation (SLCAF), a 501 c3 organization that strives to promote, connect, and empower arts and culture throughout our diverse community. The event also includes non-stop live musical entertainment, mural painting, a wine and beer garden, specialty cuisine from locally owned restaurants, children's activities, and an exclusive VIP Zone.
Effective December 18, 2024, all booths' spaces have been sold for 2025. If you apply now, you will be on the WAITLIST. Any artist that has been juried into the festival but has not completed their payment is on the Waitlist. If an artist withdraws, the WaitList will become active with email notification to approved artists that booth spaces are available. Purchase of a booth space will be first come first serve.
The festival takes place April 26-27, 2025, with setup on April 25. Regular booth space is $250 (10'x10') and corner booths are $350. Early bird discount of $50 is available until January 15, 2025. Festival awards include Best of Show ($500), 1st Place ($250), 2nd Place ($200), and 3rd Place ($150). Art categories include calligraphy, ceramics/pottery, digital, drawing, functional art, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed medium, painting (acrylic, oil, watercolors, and others), photography, printmaking, sculpture, stained glass, textiles/weaving, and wood. 75% of booth contents must be represented by submitted artwork images and must be original artwork.
