Sugar Land Arts and Music Fest 2025 - Commemorative Poster Contest

The Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation is sponsoring its first ever Sugar Land Arts and Music Fest (SLAMF) Commemorative Poster Contest. The contest is a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their talents and contribute to the visual representation of our community's spirit and creativity. Artists may submit up to two images of their original artwork, which will be prominently featured on the official poster and other publications, as well as social media channels.

Only artists participating in and paid for the 2025 Sugar Land Arts and Music Fest are eligible to submit artwork for the contest. There is no application fee. Artists may submit one artwork per application and up to two applications total. The artwork must be original, created exclusively by the artist, with no nudity, heavy religious, or political overtones. Image resolution must be a minimum of 600 DPI and suitable for printing at 24 inches tall x 18 inches wide in vertical orientation.

The contest winner will have their artwork featured on social media and printed on the commemorative poster, which will be given to sponsors and sold to festival attendees. The winning artwork must be available for sale at SLAMF 2025. As compensation, the contest winner will receive free booth space and pre-selection of booth location for the 2026 SLAMF. The judging will be conducted online by 3-5 judges, with applications viewed in random order and scored using a Yes, No, or Maybe scale.
