Strong Storms Fest

Strong Storms Fest is a ZAPP event that celebrates strength in storms, accepting both artist and non-artist vendors. The event runs from October 30 to November 2, 2024, with an application limit of 5 vendors. Applications are free and emerging artists are accepted.

Applicants must submit 4 images and a booth shot is required. Booths are available for demo purposes only. The jury process includes two rounds of scoring, with an average of 150 applications submitted each year and approximately 50 artists selected to participate, plus 10 exempt artists who are invited. Returning artists are selected based on receiving an award or being selected by on-site jury.

The jury consists of 3 jurors who score applications using both a Yes/No/Maybe system and a 1-5 scale. Applications are sorted by Application ID within medium categories, and jurors are organized into multiple panels with expertise in specific medium categories. The jury process is open for observation on all dates.
