Strictly Abstract 2024 Online

Strictly Abstract 2024 is an online juried exhibition organized by the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts, a non-profit founded in 1969. The exhibition seeks fresh, nonrepresentational work and is juried by world-renowned gallerist Anthony Meier.

Artists may submit up to 3 individual pieces of artwork. All media are welcome except video, including photography, fiber, sculpture, and digital work. Work created with the assistance of AI must be identified as such. Diptychs and triptychs are considered 1 piece and must be submitted as one image. Work does not need to be for sale. Entry fee is $40 for non-members, $30 for O'Hanlon Members (coupon code OH30), or free with new Artist membership ($140/year). Partial and full scholarships are available; contact the office for information.

Image requirements: JPEG or JPG only, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, 1-5 MB file size, sRGB color profile. The submission deadline is Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11 p.m. Pacific Time. Artists will be notified of results by email by 5 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024. Accepted artists will be featured in a beautifully curated online exhibition with curated "walls," a professionally designed PDF program, social media promotion, an online art talk, and archival availability. A Zoom roundtable art discussion will be held Thursday, April 18 at 4 p.m. Pacific time. Works previously shown at the O'Hanlon Gallery in-house or online are not eligible. Open to all artists ages 16 and older.
