Strictly Abstract

Strictly Abstract is an online juried exhibition hosted by O'Hanlon Center for the Arts. The center is seeking fresh, nonrepresentational work that inspires, evokes, and conveys the essence of the artist's vision. All media are welcome except video, including photography, fiber, sculpture, and digital work.

Each artist may submit up to 3 individual pieces of artwork for consideration. Diptychs and triptychs are considered 1 piece and must be submitted as one image. Work does not need to be for sale. The submission fee is $40 for non-members and $30 for O'Hanlon Members (use coupon code OH30). New members can join at the Artist level for $140/year and receive a free submission. Works previously shown at O'Hanlon Gallery in-house or online are not eligible. The exhibition is open to all artists ages 16 and older.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 11 p.m. Pacific Time. Artists will be notified of results by email by 5 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022. A Zoom roundtable art discussion to celebrate the show will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 4 p.m. Pacific Time, open to all selected artists. The juror is Emebet Korn, owner and curator of Desta Gallery in Mill Valley, California.
