Street + Night + Architecture

Black Box Gallery is hosting a group photography exhibition on Street + Night + Architecture. The show will feature work exploring these three subjects, celebrating the creativity and passion of contemporary photography. The gallery encourages photographers to explore techniques, aesthetics, and ideas that represent the creativity and possibility of contemporary photography within these different subjects.

Entry deadline is December 13, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. The entry fee is $40.00. Photographers may submit 1-5 images. The exhibition will run January 1-25, 2025. The juror is Todd Johnson, founder and director of Black Box Gallery, who holds an MFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and has 25 years of experience in arts education and curation.

Black Box Gallery will provide free printing, matting, and framing for all selected work. The gallery will select 24 photographs for the physical exhibition and an additional 30 photographs for the online gallery annex. All 54 photographs will be included in a catalog available for purchase on Blurb Books. Selected photographers must provide high-resolution TIFF or JPEG files. Exhibition prints will be kept in the gallery's flat file after the show for future promotion and sale. Black Box Gallery takes a 50% commission on all sales, with 50% going to the photographer. All rights remain with the photographer, and no sale or printing will occur without prior consent. The opportunity is open to international photographers.
