STRATA

Verum Ultimum Art Gallery invites artists to submit work exploring the theme STRATA. This is an online-only virtual group exhibition. Selected artists will be featured on the Verum Ultimum Art Gallery website and displayed in the gallery's virtual gallery platform with works appearing in scale. Artists will also be featured through online blog posts, with social media promotion continuing for a minimum of 6 weeks.

The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Strata refers to layers—literal (in material usage or striated appearance) or symbolic (layers of meaning and complexity). Artists are invited to interpret the theme in their own way. The entry fee is $20.00 for 2 images, with an additional $5.00 for each image beyond 2. A minimum of 2 images and maximum of 6 images are required. Submissions must be digital JPG files. Notification of accepted work will be sent by email by May 28, 2022. The exhibition opens in early June and runs through July 2022. An exhibition book will be produced and retained in the Verum Ultimum library. Artists retain all copyrights to their work.
