About This Call
Gallerium presents Still Life - 2024, the 2nd dual exhibition and publication opportunity to celebrate objects, natural or manmade, in any medium, arrangement or composition. This opportunity recognizes the profound narratives that can be conveyed through the arrangement of objects, light and shadows, transforming everyday items into captivating visual stories.
Submissions can encompass a wide range of subjects and categories, including traditional still life with classic arrangements of fruits, flowers, and ceramics; contemporary objects like gadgets and urban artifacts; symbolic narratives conveying deeper meanings; textures and surfaces highlighting tactile qualities; and minimalistic arrangements focusing on simplicity and form. All natural or artificial artworks presenting creative, unique and captivating still life in any subject, style, and medium are welcomed. The opportunity is open to all visual artists worldwide working in any 2D and 3D art medium, including painting, drawing, illustration, abstract, printmaking, photography, digital arts, sculpture, mixed media, and more.
Selected artworks will be showcased in the Still Life 2024 international online smart group exhibition from October 30 to December 30, 2024, and published in The Book of Arts: Still Life series. Selected artists will receive a digital certificate, online profile page on the Biafarin platform, digital sharable exhibition poster, social media promotional badges, and access to reports containing views, comments, engagement rates, and sales statistics. An exhibition catalogue will be published in both online and print formats. Submission is free of charge; selected artists pay a selection fee of USD 40 (USD 34 early bird). Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. A money-back guarantee is available for selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day.
