STILL

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to an online exhibition titled STILL. The theme explores beauty in the ordinary and stillness—capturing moments that are often overlooked in daily life, such as a fresh bouquet of flowers, a breathtaking sunset, or a sense of witnessed joy. Artists are invited to share their perspective on STILL.

Entry fees are $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total submissions. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). All sales inquiries are directed to the artist, and artists receive 100% of sale proceeds. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to arts organizations and artist support initiatives.

JPEGs must be submitted by Friday, June 23, 2023 at midnight MST. Images must be in JPEG/JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Video submissions are also accepted (MOV, MP4, WMV formats) with specifications: 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio, minimum 640x480 resolution, maximum 1920x1080, bit rate above 240 kbps recommended, 30 fps frame rate recommended, under 100 MB file size. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by Friday, July 21, 2023. The call is open to amateur and professional artists worldwide. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibitions is not eligible. Work copied or created under instructor guidance is not eligible. All fine art mediums are accepted, including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, digital art, and film/video. Selection is by director's choice, curated by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill and an anonymous committee of jurors. No personal feedback is provided by jurors. Cash awards over $600 are subject to federal income tax withholding; winners must submit a W-9 form.
