About This Call
The Stevens Point Area Festival of the Arts will celebrate its 52nd year on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 10am-4pm at Artist & Fare and O'so Brewing Company in Plover, WI. This indoor venue hosts 52 fine art and fine craft artists in a one-day event that is free to the public, featuring ample parking, a free kids' art zone, and an art raffle to support local art education grants. The show is run by working artists and art loving volunteers who value a thriving artist community and work to encourage art awareness, support working artists, and contribute to local art education.
The application deadline is Saturday, January 31, 2026 at midnight CST with a $30 non-refundable jury fee. Artists must submit 4 images of current work plus 1 booth shot through Zapplication. Booth fees are $130 for a 10'x10' standard booth or flexible 6'x15' booth, with electricity available for an additional $30. All artwork must be original and produced by the exhibiting artist, with acceptable categories including 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing/Pastels, Fiber, Leather, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Stone, and Wood.
Awards include the Dick Schneider Best of Show ($500), Brenda Gingles 3-D Award ($250), John Morser 2-D Award ($250), and three Awards of Excellence ($150 each). Award winners receive an invitation and waived jury fee for the 2027 festival. Artist amenities include Saturday check-in and set-up, storage areas, booth sitters, complimentary coffee and donuts Sunday morning, extensive marketing, and free parking.
