About This Call
State of Suspension is a national juried exhibition featuring sculpture suspended from the gallery ceiling, running October 13 - November 11, 2016. The panel jury is led by Andi Steele.
Artists may submit up to 3 works with a non-refundable entry fee of $30. Awards include First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), and Third Place ($100). Artists will be notified of acceptance status by email by September 8, 2016. Accepted work must be delivered to CAB Art Gallery by October 8, 2016.
Sculptures must not exceed 25 lbs in total weight. Artists are responsible for providing all hardware and wire needed to hang from the ceiling, which is 14 feet high. The gallery will retain a 30% sales commission on the retail price of any sold work. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the exhibition and must ship accepted artwork with a return UPS or FedEx barcoded shipping label enclosed.
