Stampede Western Art Exhibition and Sale

The Stampede Western Art Exhibition and Sale celebrates the western way of life and takes place June 24 - July 6, 2025 at Island Grove Event Center, 421 North 15th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631. The exhibition features both established and emerging youth artists, with a portion of artwork sales proceeds supporting scholarships in Weld County through the Stampede Foundation.

Entry fee is $50.00 for up to 3 juried pieces (youth entry is free with coupon). Artists may also submit up to 5 unframed artworks at no additional charge in the bin area (maximum bin size 16" x 20"). Prints are allowed. Submissions must be original works not previously entered in this show, and all art must be for sale. Two-dimensional entries must be framed, dry, and wired for hanging. Entry size is limited to 36" x 44" framed (outside frame) or 78 united inches (length plus width). A 30% commission applies to sales (70% to artist). Artists may donate an additional piece to the kick-off reception live auction, with proceeds benefiting the Stampede Foundation.

Youth artists from Weld County high schools (grades 9-12) are invited to enter. Top 8 youth submissions will be selected for display with no entry fee. Youth art awards include: First place $500, Second & Third place $250, Fourth through Eighth place $100, and Honorable Mentions in art supplies. Weld County graduating seniors with a 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply for Stampede Foundation scholarships (applications due March 1, 2025).
