St. Stephen's Art Show & MakersFest 2026

The St. Stephen's Art Show is a 30+ year tradition held on the tree-shaded campus of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove. This not-for-profit event features fine artists and makers, with over $10,000 in awards distributed across Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in different mediums, plus 10 awards of merit. Known as "The People's Show" for being funky, friendly and accessible, the event includes an award-winning English Tea Room, scratch-cooked food at the Heavenly Grill, Art4Kids playground area, and live local music from 11am to 5pm.

Applications require four high-resolution digital images including three individual artworks and one required outdoor booth display photo. Early bird application fee is $35 (June 1st - July 31st), late applications are $55 (September). Artist booths are $555 for 10x10 space, Makers booths are $615 for 10x10 space with category exclusivity. Makers are accepted only one per category with no duplication allowed. The jury consists of experienced art professionals including gallery curators, art educators, and working artists who score submissions on a 1-10 point system.

Artist amenities include 24-hour booth security, private restrooms, welcome gift bags, complimentary Saturday artist cocktail and supper with awards ceremony, Sunday blessing of the art service, and daily continental breakfast. Booths must be staffed 9:30am-6:00pm all three days. Buy/sell items are prohibited, and all work must be created, signed and presented by the artist. T-shirts and posters are not permitted for sale as the church sells show merchandise for their outreach programs.
