St. Louis Holiday Arts Expo

The St. Louis Arts Chamber of Commerce invites artists of all mediums to participate in the inaugural, juried Greater St. Louis Holiday Arts Expo. This virtual gallery launches on Small Business Saturday (November 28, 2020), with programming including live streaming opportunities for artists to interact with patrons taking place November 28-30. The virtual gallery remains accessible until Valentine's Day (February 14, 2021). Nonprofit organizations are also encouraged to participate to highlight their mission, solicit donations, and promote tickets, memberships, or services.

Artists must be at least 18 years of age and may submit up to five entries (three for audio or video). Artwork must be original and completed within the last three years. Submissions must include a short bio and artist statement. Work samples may include photos, video, and audio files. Image submissions must be JPEG or JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB, with sRGB color profile. Audio files must be AIFF, WAV, XMF, or MP3 format, under 10 MB, with bit rate between 96-320 kbps. Video files must be MOV, MP4, WMV, 3GP, AVI, ASF, MPG, M2T, MKV, or M2TS format, under 100 MB, with minimum 640x480 resolution and 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. Linked media from YouTube or Vimeo is not accepted.

Entry deadline is 11:59 p.m. MST on November 13, 2020. Jury fee is $22 for St. Louis Arts Chamber members and $27 for nonmembers. If accepted, virtual booth fee is $50 for members and $80 for nonmembers. All pieces for sale must be submitted by November 20, with additional pieces accepted after gallery launch as items sell. Works sold through the virtual gallery incur a 15% commission for members and 25% for nonmembers. Artists will be notified of acceptance no later than November 17.
