St. Charles Fine Art Show 2026

The St. Charles Fine Art Show, marking its 28th year, invites over 100 juried artists to showcase their original works across various mediums on May 23rd & May 24th, 2026. Held outdoors along the scenic Fox River in downtown St. Charles, this event attracts over 20,000 attendees and offers unparalleled exposure to art lovers and serious buyers. Participation is open to fine artists in clay/ceramics, digital art, drawing/illustration, fiber (non-wearable only), jewelry, photography, glass, mixed media, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and wood.

The show features artist awards including $1500 for Best in Show, six $700 Awards of Excellence, and three $100 Judges Awards. Artists receive complimentary refreshments including free coffee, water, soda, donut holes, and box lunches on both days. Additional amenities include 24-hour security, convenient artist parking, booth sitters, and multi-media marketing through online digital ads, social media, street banners, and Chicago Tribune promotions. The "ArtCada" Purchase Award Program offers buyers two free tickets to the Arcada Theater with a minimum purchase of $250.

Application deadline is January 31, 2026, with a jury fee of $40. Booth fees are $445 for single 10x10 spaces or $890 for double 10x20 spaces. Artists must provide professional quality freestanding tents with adequate weights, and all work must be displayed with visible pricing. Prints and reproductions are limited to 10% of the overall display and must be of art also on display. The St. Charles sales tax rate is 8%.
